The Music Unlimited application on the Playstation 4 can be used to download songs, or albums to create a playlist to listen to while using your console in or out of game. It is very easy to use, although a bit time consuming while adding songs one at a time.
With the purchase of PS+ comes a free month of this service. After launching the application, it will ask you to sign up or to use the free trial. In my case, I used to free month trial.
After you complete your trial or subscription, in order to create a playlist you’ll first need to select the Playlists tab from the Top Menu.
From there, click Create Playlist then give it a name.
To add songs to your newly created playlist, go to the song or album in your library, open the options menu and select Add to Playlist.
If you don’t have any songs, you can do a search for an album or song and again, select the option to add to your playlist.
It’s really an easy and simple application to use. Is it worth an extended use beyond the free trial? Well that’s another story.
